I built this little game in winter 2013, the idea I was going for was to make it feel really dangerous and messy, like an actual knife fight. To accomplish this I made sure each hit caused a lot of damage and added a bleeding mechanic, so even successful parries would cause some damage. The bleeding has the effect of making the game more frantic as you can’t sit and wait once you start bleeding so it becomes a game of measured aggression.
I like it quite a lot, although it’s only a very short game with one AI opponent.
